Good’s Disposal Service will be the contracted hauler for Hallam Borough beginning January 6, 2025. Republic Services will be collecting ALL blue and green trash and recycling containers on December 30, 2024. All residents will be responsible for providing their own trash can and recycling container for weekly collections. Large items will no longer need to be pre-scheduled for collection. Borough ordinance allows up to six 32-gallon containers for trash. For example… One 64-gallon can counts as two containers and one 96-gallon can counts as three containers. There is no specific size for the recycling container.
